The school’s core coaches have been with Four Seasons Tennis since it opened in January 2002 and are certified by the Australian Tennis Professional Coaches Association and/or Tennis Australia. Within this cohort of gifted coaches is a balanced range of skill and competitive backgrounds which allows for a truly optimum tennis experience.

C. Strachan-Brown

Co-Director/Head Coach

CSB is a Master Professional Level 3 qualified tennis coach. He has been coaching at Four Seasons Tennis School for 21 years and has been the school's Head Coach for the past 18 years. CSB has played several junior competitions in the local area and now focuses on developing the school's Junior Development Program through the teenage squad system. He is a qualified personal fitness trainer which feeds into his vision of junior sports development. CSB works well with all ages and demands energy and commitment from all his groups of students. But he also provides a high level of expertise as a coach of private students. He is the Co-Director and co-proprietor of the school.

Steve Mansfield

Coach

In the 90’s and 00’s Steve coached at Royal Berkshire Racquet & Health Club UK, Eton College, Cavendish Girls School, Long Beach California and Esporta Royal Berkshire Racquet Club. Notable students in the UK included Prince William and Princesses Beatrice and Eugene. Whilst in California he completed his USPTR Accreditation, Professional Level, before returning to Sydney. Steve has been a very popular coach at Four Seasons Tennis since 2021, showcased by his engaging and enthusiastic lessons.

Zhiran Zhou

Coach

Zhiran was steeped in tournament and comp play with NTSA on the north shore for some years before moving to salubrious Marrickville. He believes that poor technique and lackadaisical footwork is a roadblock to meaningful improvement, and he strives to break through with detailed corrections. He is perceptive on court and articulates with a natty eloquence. His humour adds to his efficacy as a top line coach. ‘100 percent footwork, 50 percent power’ is his favourite saying.

Pang Suwanaposee

Coach

Pang has an illustrious background as a NZ national junior tennis champion. From 2009 to 2011 she was NZ’s top-ranked junior player and travelled the Junior world circuit, including international tournaments in India and China. Uni degrees and PHDs followed and in those years she switched to group and private coaching in Rotorua and Christchurch. In 2022 she hopped ‘the ditch’ to take up further studies in Sydney while coaching her own stable of players. She joined Four Seasons Tennis for 2023.

Thomas Papadimitriou

Coach

Thomas started tennis at the age of 9 and has played as high as state competitions, divisions, socials and inter-district tournaments. Thomas uses his knowledge learnt from his years of competitive tennis to teach group coaching and private coaching to kids and adults alike. Thomas runs his lessons with an emphasis on structure and making it challenging for students.

Theo Papas

Coach

Theo Papas has been playing competitive tennis since the age of 5, representing NSW at National events, and is still actively competing. He began coaching at schools with high-performance squads before joining FSTS at the beginning of 2024, where his intense and engaging style stands out. Using drills like high-tempo rallying, footwork ladders, and competitive point play, Theo pushes students both physically and mentally. His sharp eye for detail and passion for competition create a dynamic environment where players are challenged to elevate their game.

Nina Radevic

Coach

Nina picked up her first racquet at 5 and fell in love with the game. She went on to work as a coach in Ashbury for two years before joining FSTS in 2023. She has a background in the Junior ranks representing NSW in interstate competition over the last few years. She is a stickler for technique and has brought strong ideas on physical drills and warmup preparation to the teen Squad on Thursdays.

Arran has 25 years of playing experience and with his cache of skills and wisdom has been an asset at Four Seasons Tennis for the last 3 years. He loves the 2- handed backhand down the line! He yelps in joy when he does it! Greatest achievements: Ball kid at ATP World Tour Finals 2010 / His completion of the 70 km Ultra Marathon 2022 / Ironman Port MacQuarie for UTA100, the 100kms Ultra Marathon in 2023

Zain Rahmat

Coach

Zain is a Master Professional Level 3 qualified tennis coach and was ranked in the top 50 players as a junior in Australia. He competed in the satellite and Future Event tour for some years and still competes in club competitions in Sydney and beyond. Zain specialises in coaching our school's advanced adults in the private coaching program. His playing experience over the years as a top junior and A-grade adult player gives him a great depth of understanding of technique, strategy and pressure situations, which he imparts eloquently to his students. He is renowned for his calm personality and understanding manner.

Troy has been coaching with Four Seasons since 2007. He grew up in country NSW and has been involved with tennis his whole life. He is fortunate to be able to play around the globe throughout the year and has coached regularly for many years in both Singapore and Australia. He still enjoys playing competitive tennis at A1 level and lives by the adage that "too much tennis is barely enough". He has also completed fitness training courses and guarantees lessons with a high level of activity and regular feedback.

Coach

Jai first picked up a racquet when he was 3 years old and fell in love with the sport. He played many knockout tournaments through his teens as well as representing Sydney East in many competitions. Jai has recently aimed even higher in the national competitive scene and has achieved some stunning results round Australia. His UTR has also risen along with his work ethic.

Andres Sergio Mojica

Coach

Andres spent his early years in Colombia on clay and hard courts. He began teaching tennis private students here in his adopted country. His advice in the past was to emulate Rafa Nadal and Andy Roddick. Thiem and Carlos Alcaraz have been his more recent examplars. Andres is a believer in technique fundamentals, but coupled with the fun of playing competitive drills.

Gareth has been working in the tennis industry on and off for about 10 years. Including 5 years working for Babolat as the New Zealand Sales Manager. Coaching in both New Zealand and Sydney. As far back as he can remember he had a tennis racquet in his hand, playing competitive junior tennis in New Zealand.

Tony Strachan

Co-Director/General Manager

Tony has been coaching at Four Seasons Tennis School for over 18 years and has been manager since 2006. He is a Level 2 qualified Tennis Coach and deploys his previous experience as a high school teacher. He runs the Monday night adult comp as well as the four adult Sunday tournaments; his cooking at the tournaments have powered many a win! Tony is Co-Proprietor of Four Seasons Tennis School. Commanding presence on the court, whether with children or adults. In 2015, he took on the role of University Games Tennis Team Manager with aplomb, and during his tertiary years was awarded a number of scholarships.
